To boost the recovery of learning in the country, the Department of Education (DepEd) on Friday, Oct. 28, asked local government units (LGUs) to avoid the unnecessary suspension of classes.
Classes should be suspended only during public emergencies, severe weather disturbances and calamities… The agency aims to not only bring learners back to school, but also institute measures to maximize learning recovery,
DepEd said in a statement.
