To aid the Department of Education (DepEd) in promoting the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19 to teaching and non-teaching personnel, City Savings Bank, Inc. (CitySavings) offered incentives to vaccinated teachers.

OTHER STORIES:

Through a raffle promo, CitySavings joined DepEd in its nationwide vaccination drive among its teaching and non-teaching personnel by rewarding teacher-clients who are fully vaccinated.

As of the moment, cash incentives of P2, 000 each have been received by about 230 fully-vaccinated teachers.

Currently, the DepEd received much positive support from teachers on its ‘Vac2School’ vaccination drive. It aims to address concerns and proper awareness and information about getting protected against the COVID-19 through vaccination.

Additionally, it also aims to positively reinforce and encourage teachers to get their shots by giving incentives.

CitySavings believes that by being fully vaccinated, is a step to ensure that the continuing resumption of limited face-to-face classes will be done safely and in compliance with strict health standards.
With the right kind of encouragement and reinforcement, we are reassured that our teachers can slowly recover and even improve the state of the country’s educational system,
it said.
