The Inter-Agency Task Force on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information and Reporting Systems (AO25 IATF) assessed the agency and deemed it eligible for the annual incentive for performing agencies.
We have consistently introduced reforms in our processes to help our employees provide better services to our stakeholders. I thank the whole DepEd family for contributing to these reforms and to our goal of improving our performance amidst challenging times,
said Education Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones.

In a letter of AO25 Chairperson and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Undersecretary Kim Robert De Leon, DepEd was assessed compliant in 14 of the 15 applicable indicators for the 2020 PBB. This is the most number of compliant indicators since the start of PBB in 2012.
Since the start of PBB implementation in 2012, this is the first time that DepEd got almost a 100% compliance in all of the PBB indicators,
Undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral said.
DepEd is ensuring that it will continue its process improvement through the institutionalization of the National Quality Management System (NQMS) to meet the eligibility indicators for PBB 2021,
she added.

Subject to the result of DepEd’s school-level RPMS for 2020, school-based personnel are eligible for the grant of the FY 2020 PBB.

The DBM will facilitate the release of the bonuses. First ones to receive their bonuses will be the school-based personnel, then the SDO-based personnel who are assigned in the schools, followed by School Division Offices (SDOs), Regional Offices (ROs), and lastly, the Central Office (CO).

Funds will be downloaded by DBM to its Regional Offices (ROs). They will then directly release them to DepEd ROs and SDOs to the respective personnel eligible for the grant of PBB.
