The Department of Education (DepEd) said that they will review the time allotted for face-to-face classes as teachers noted that it was too short to maximize.
According to Education Undersecretary Nepomuceno Malaluan, the time allotted for kindergarten students is three hours and four hours for higher grade levels up to senior high school.

He added that observation was one of the concerns based on the feedback from teachers and schools through DepEd’s monitoring and evaluation tool which reports every week.
This is something that we will review, with respect to the time allotment, with our counterparts in the DOH (Department of Health). This will be one of our agenda,
he said.
Moreover, Malaluan also raised another issue about the conduct of face-to-face classes and distance learning as it will be conducted simultaneously.
Although, most of our teachers and the students and parents welcome this, there are also certain adjustments that have to be made from one, from pure distance learning modality to one that blends it with the physical,
he said.
