Students to receive P3,000 financial assistance in Pasay City

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said that P3,000 financial assistance for the months of October to December 2020 will be given to 11,739 students from elementary, secondary and special schools on June 8 to 11.

Based on a report from the Department of Education (DepEd), the students who will be receiving their financial aid were part of the total target of 29,129 learners from 18 schools.

The students who will receive the financial assistance are from P. Villanueva Elementary School (1,093), Jose Rizal Elementary School (2,166), and Pasay City North M. Dela Cruz (5,202).

On the following day, June 9, Mayor Rubiano said that the city government will continue distributing financial assistance to 693 students from Pasay City Science High School, 47 from Philippine School for the Deaf, and 20 from the Philippine School for the Blind. Whereas, on June 10 and 11, 2,168 learners from Don Carlos Village Elementary School, 1,610 students from Rivera Village Elementary School, and 1,999 from Juan Sumulong Elementary School will receive their financial assistance.

She added that a preparation for the distribution of the financial assistance to student beneficiaries for the period of January to March this year is also being currently organized by the city government.
