According to him, 104 of the 155 confirmed errors came from from locally-developed materials or those developed by DepEd regional offices, division offices, or schools; one from “privately-developed” materials; one from DepEd textbook; five from DepEd TV; 25 from materials reviewed by the central office; and 19 were from unknown sources.
Concurrently, AAMBIS-OWA party-list Representative Sharon Garin expressed her disappointment over the confirmed errors specifically the errors that came from unknown sources.
One topic I'm particular about is 'yung unknown sources. How did it happen? 'Di ba nakakatakot 'yan, nakakalusot 'yan and hindi niyo alam saan nanggaling,
Garin said.
In response, San Antonio said that the unknown sources are posts from social media which the agency could not find where the materials are being used. He added that when they validated the errors, they have not been found to be used in the DepEd.
They were attempts perhaps by some people who would want to also say that DepEd is using erroneous resources. But as we’ve tried to validate them, we could not find a school using those self-learning modules cited,
he added.
