An alleged ‘promotion for sale’ scheme which offers teachers to be promoted is currently being investigated by the the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) at the Department of Education (DepEd) Central Luzon regional office after an information came out about the modus being once again offered.

In a virtual meeting organized by Public Information Officer of the PACC Rommel Ramos on Monday, PACC Chairman Greco Belgica confirmed the existence once more of the modus.
According to the received complaints, Belgica said that a certain Allan Alba, an official at the DepEd Region 3 office who was found guilty and terminated of the same modus in the province of Bulacan is allegedly facilitating again a promotion for sale scheme at the DepEd regional office in Central Luzon.
With this, Belgica assured that the PACC is presently working on to validate the anomalous transactions at the DepEd Central Luzon office.
He appeals to media and public as he believes that their participation and collaboration is an important role in exposing and stopping these kinds of practice in support of the government’s campaign to fight corruption.
