A survey will be conducted by the Department of Education (DepEd) on the teachers’ willingness to get vaccinated against COVID-19. However, teachers might not have a choice in the matter on condition that their vaccination would be required to resume face-to-face classes.
I presume that it is not going to be completely a matter of choice in so far as teachers will be concerned, especially if it will be part of the protocol of the resumption of generalized face-to-face classes,
Undersecretary Nepomuceno Malaluan told senators during the hearing of the Senate basic education committee on Wednesday.
Malaluan added that the department could conduct a survey on how many teachers are willing to get vaccinated.
