Teachers pose in their pajamas along with printed modules to share positivity

In order to share positive motivation to other teachers, a group of teachers in pajamas posed along with their printed modules to make fun of their overworked situation showing that despite the unending work that they have to deal with, they still find time to enjoy and be happy.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, DepEd shifted its learning system to blended/ distance learning. Many teachers since then are working overtime to complete their learning modules, check their students’ assignments and tests, make grades, and perform other responsibilities. They even are spending more time in school in order to make sure that the learning modules for students are complete and are ready to be retrieved and distributed to the learners.

Complaints and problems couldn’t be avoided as teachers, students and parents and other concerned people were greatly burdened by this sudden shift in learning. However, there are also other people who look at the bright side of things and convert the negativity of the situation into a more positive experience for them.

In Cagayan Valley, a group of public school teachers wore pajamas as they posed together with their printed learning modules. They are from Andarayan National School in the municipality of Solana, Cagayan Valley.

Teacher Jinky, one of the teachers, said that she and her co-teachers have spent many overtime hours at work to complete their modules. Instead of complaining, they just wanted to simply take the situation they are in with positivity.

Masaya naman kahit may pandemya. It is fulfilling because we embrace our work with positivity,

she explained.
