Robbery by an unknown man to a teacher in Tondo, caught in CCTV

A 22-year-old female teacher from Tondo, Manila is totally frightened after she was robbed by an unknown man.


The victim withdrew from an ATM at a bank not far from her home. As she was walking home, a man grabbed her from behind. The robber pulled the victim to the side of the road which was covered with trees and a parked truck.

According to Jose Abad Santos Police, the victim was strangled and threatened with a knife. The situation was caught by Barangay 229 CCTV, where they discovered that the suspect was already following the victim from the bank. 

The suspect was able to steal the withdrawn money which amounts to P5,000. The money was supposed to be an allowance of the teacher for a week.

Upon getting the money, the suspect ran in the direction of Yuseco Street. The identity of the robber is still being investigated.

This serves to be a reminder for everyone to be vigilant and to always take extra precautions.
