Principal went viral over photos doing construction work to finish school project

A school principal garnered admiration from netizens after his picture doing construction work at his school went viral. In the taken photo, he was finishing the riprap and stairs of Habana Integrated School even at night in Buruanga, Aklan.

According to his son, his father Elmer Lumbo was a principal for almost 10 years and that he did it to complete the project and for it to be reported at the school division. Also, the project deadline was being met and there are more that needs to be done, which is why their father decided to help with the construction.

Elmer Lumbo thanks everyone for the compliments he received. He was a principal for almost 10 years. The photos were posted by one of his sons and explained that they did it for fun and did not expect netizens to notice it.

However, Lumbo said that what he did was only a small thing for his school and knew that there are others like him in the DepEd community who did more than what he did.
