In a briefing on Monday, Sinas said the bonus has been credited to the bank accounts of “personnel who are qualified to receive this mandated financial windfall.”
However, payment of bonus is deferred for personnel with administrative cases, especially those serving suspension,
he added.
This year’s total of year-end bonus is slightly higher than the P7.4-billion given to 205,189 uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the PNP in 2019.
