DepEd Central Office’s non-teaching staff receives sack of rice

The Department of Education (DepEd) Central Office security guards, utility workers, drivers, and other non-teaching workforce received one sack of rice in recognition of their contribution to the department throughout the year.

In a simple program, Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones thanked the employees for their continued service despite the challenges of the pandemic and past disasters. The donation was received by Omar B. Espiritu, Detachment Security Officer in behalf of other department staff.

It will be recalled that the Secretary also reserved sacks of rice to be distributed to those who were severely affected by the recent typhoons.
