Meron po kaming pinsala sa agrikultura at yung damage sa agriculture ni Typhoon Siony dito ay mga P4.9 million po,
Cayco said during the Laging Handa press briefing.

[We have reported damage in agriculture due to Siony and the estimated damage is about P4.9 million.]

But aside from this, the storm did not deal any more damage to infrastructure, water and communication lines, Cayco said.
Wala pong naapektuhan na ating mga constituents, wala pong nasira na mga bahay, kalsada, at imprastraktura,
she said.

[None of our constituents were affected, none of the houses, roads and infrastructures were damaged.]

The governor said days before Siony passed through the province that the local government had already made preparations.

Siony passed over Batanes on Friday, packing 85 kilometer-per-hour winds and gusts of 100 kilometers per hour at its peak. It exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 12 a.m. on Saturday.
