3 nursing students stabbed to death at Caloocan City

On Sunday, three nursing students including two females were found dead in Caloocan City allegedly stabbed by construction workers, according to police.

Caloocan police have arrested two construction workers who are considered the persons of interest in the crime case while 2 more suspects are wanted.

The victims were identified as Mona Ismael Habibolla, Glydel Belonio, and Arjay Belencio, who were found dead in a makeshift house. The victims sustained multiple stab wounds on different parts of their body and authorities recovered the kitchen knives used in the crime.

According to Levan Belencio, Arjay's father, his brother who lives in London let Arjay and his cousin Belonio live and look after his house in Amparo Subdivision at North Caloocan while it's under construction.

The other victim, Isamel, also stayed in at his two friends' house so that they could review for the upcoming nursing board exam.

According to Dario Menor, chief of the Caloocan police, Arjay discovered that some construction workers were deceiving them. It allegedly includes, adding extra amounts in buying the construction materials and the use of marijuana.

According to police, Belonio caught one of the suspects using marijuana and was removed from construction a week before the crime occurred.

Theft is considered as one of the motives behind the crime because Arjay's 2 ATMs are missing. The ATM allegedly contained the money that is used in the construction of the house.

Relatives of the victims only found out that they had died when they did not answer their calls for a long time.
