Danie Sedilla Cruz, channel head of Knowledge Channel is insuring that they are ready to implement the "School at Home" program despite the change in schedule of class opening. Cruz said,
Mukhang mauurong 'yung school opening natin to October, 'yun ang bago nating nakita. Pero anyway, wala namang mababago. Kasi kahit naman sa August 24 ang opening ng classes, or even if it's going to be on any other dates, Knowledge Channel is ready for the School at Home campaign,
[We think that the school opening on October will be moved, that is how we see it. Anyway, nothing changes. Even if the opening of classes is August 24 or on any other dates, Knowledge Channel is ready for the School at Home campaign.]
He added that it is what they are prepared for, they are ensuring even in this pandemic or any other challenges the education sector may face, Knowledge Channel is ready to help the learners, teachers and parents.
The School at Home program aims to imitate the classroom experience inside a home by setting time schedule for each grade level. It includes the five core subjects, Filipino, Math, English, Science, and Social Studies (Araling Panlipunan). Cruz added,
[We have a specific time for the Alternative Learning System, we also have a specific time for Kindergarten, then there is also a specific time for Grades 1 to 10. Then what we did, we programmed the five core subjects consecutively from each grade level,]
