Lampara books, who wrote 'Ako ay may Titi' is now writing its female version 'Ako ay may Kiki'

When Lampara Books published the new children’s book titled "Ako ay May Titi" it went viral on Facebook. Many finds the title funny, the is a book about how will young Filipino boys could properly care of their private body parts. It received a lot of good comments and support from netizens saying that conversations about the males private part should not become forbidden. After it went viral, stocks from the different online shopping sites ran out.

Lampara Books announced on Facebook that the book Ako ay May Titi will also have a girls version titled "Ako ay May Kiki." It is after many parents asked the publisher to also make a version for their young girls.

In a post last Tuesday, the illustrator of the book, Beth Parrocha showed a sketch or a character study of the female version of the book. Same reason as the first book, it seeks to educate young Filipino girls on the proper ways to take good care of their private body parts.

However, like the first book, it sparked a little debate from the netizens.

Others finds the title funny and suggested the use of other terms. Some says it's the job of the parents to educate their children and doesn't need a book. 

However, many netizens support the educational book, saying that its highly time that as early as possible children should know how to properly take care of their private part. Some parents also said that they don't know how to start this kind of conversations that is why the book is a big help to them.

Furthermore, parents said that the educational book is also a way to enrich the children's thoughts and that early education will help them in the future.

When the first book were published the author explained that private parts should be paid an attention too and there is nothing to be ashamed of talking about it.The author made examples like, children know they can't stab their eyes because it will hurt them as well as they know that they should always wash their hands. The author said it is the same thing when it comes to their private parts, conversations about it will help to educate and enlighten kids as early as possible to value and protect their private parts.
