A family recently had a reunion at their residence in Barangay 343, Sta. Cruz Manila. Two persons of the same household died of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid 19) on June 18 and June 20 after members of their family tested positive for the virus.

They also had a drink and we're not sure of what happened and how did their family had a positive case.) a resident said.
There are a total of 13 active COVID-19 cases in the barangay from four households. The incident caused an alarm for the residents as well as the barangay as most of the residents have started to be complacent.
Starting July 4 and July 5, Barangay 343 and 30 will be placed on hard lockdown as well as the other barangays in the city as cases spiked within two weeks.
Na bawal po 'yung dikit-dikit, social distancing po," (The residents were drinking, smoking, they gather and talk on the streets. We warned them several times of social distancing.) Ariel Morales Cansino, barangay captain, said.
Now, the police and soldiers will look after them.) he added.
Contact tracing is ongoing and they reminded everyone in the barangay to stay at home for the time being.
Again, the government is constantly reminding everyone to observe social distancing, wear mask properly and as much as possible go out when needed only. Avoid crowded areas or crowd attracted events such as family gathering and birthdays.
