Beauty Queen Alleged Mistress of a Politician

Many were shocked with one of Raffy Tulfo's episode were aired about a beauty queen being a mistress of a politician.

Mylene Mangudadatu, 32 years old sought help with the program and complained about an alleged illicit affair of Sharifa Akeel and his husband Congressman Esmael "Toto" Mangudadatu.

Sharifa Mangatong Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel or Sharifa Akeel is a Filipino model and titleholder of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018 and Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 with an advocacy of women empowerment. She was born in Lebak, Sultan Kudarat, Philippines.

According to Mylene, Sharifa, being a titleholder, should be a good example to young people. But having an alleged illicit affair with her husband is not being a good example at all.

"Toto" was the mayor of Buluan, Maguindanao, Philippines from from 2003 to 2007 and the town’s vice mayor from 2007 to 2010. He served as the governor of Maguindanao from 2010 to 2019 and was elected in 2019 as the representative of the second district of the province.

Mylene narrated how she discovered that there was still something going on between the beauty queen and her husband, which she thought was already over when she chanced upon an FB Live of Toto.

"Bigla ko pong napanood sa FB live ng asawa ko, lumabas si Ms. Sharifa sa reflection sa pond dun po sa bahay namin sa Mindanao." (I watched my husband FB live when I saw a reflection of Ms. Sharifa on the pond of our home in Mindanao.) Mylene said.

"Minsan po, yung isa nilang video, naglalandian po po sila through bulong-bulong din po." (One time, in one of their videos, they're having sweet talks through whispers.)

Tulfo asked Mylene about her husband being a Muslim which therefore permits him to take another wife for four times and presumed that maybe Congressman Mangudadato would like to mary Sharifa.

Mylene replied that Congressman Mangudadatu have already another wife and he is no longer allowed to get married again.

“...Actually po kompleto na po ‘yung slots niya. Sa list of marriages po, kompleto na po.” (...Actually his slots for marriage are already filled. In the list of marriage, it is already complete.)

According to Mylene, there is a law in the culture of Muslims that the husband should ask permission to the wife if he wants to get married again. In their case, Congressman Mangudadatu and Mylene have also a ‘prenuptial agreement’ that he can't get married if Mylene doesn't agreed to it.

“Binabalak ko po sanang sampahan ng kaso si Ms. Sharifa Akeel ng Psychological Abuse under VAWC po, at Alienation of Affection under Article 26 po of the Family Code of the Philippines,” (I am planning of filling a case against Ms. Sharifa with Psychological Abuse under VAWC and Alienation of Affection under Article 26 of the Family Code of the Philippines.) said Mylene.

According to Mylene, the case was already with her lawyer. She said she heard that Sharifa wanted to join other beauty pageants, but she emphasized that Sharifa has no longer have the right to represent the Philippines because of a stained dignity.
